THE ONE FOR ME
Chapter 11

Samantha woke up early Monday morning and was happy when she realized that she would have the week off from wearing her school uniform. You see it was career week and because of that the dress code was being temporarily removed. Today she, and her fellow juniors, would be heading to three prestigious law firms to learn how things worked before going to lunch at Red Lobsters.

Because they would be going to a business environment they had to be dressed in professional attire. She quickly made her way to the bathroom and showered using her Vanilla Lace scented shower gel. Once she was clean and feeling refreshed she turned off the water, wrapped a large plush towel around her body, and headed for her sink. She washed her face and brushed her teeth before leaving the bathroom and heading to her room.

She quickly towel dried her body before massaging her Vanilla Lace scenter moisturizing lotion into her damp skin and rolling on her clear deodorant. Once her skin was silky smooth and radiating with a softy glow, she headed to her closet to figure out what she wanted to wear. It didn't take her long to find the suit she wanted to wear, and when she spotted it she immeditely grabbed the hangers that the material was on and placed them on her bed. She then made her way to her underwear drawer and began to push through the many pieces of cotton/lace until she found the pair that would go perfectly for her outfit.

Samantha quickly, yet carely slid on her white and yellow accented lace eyelit corset and matching low rise thong set. Once she was covered with her undergarments she slipped into her black collared shirt before she pulled on her white low riding skinny pants. She fastened the pants and smoothed the material out over her thighs before putting on her matching white jacket.

Once she was dressed she made her way to the bathroom to do something with her hair. She was thinking of the diferent hair styles that wold be appropriate for a work place and decided that the easiest thing to pull off was a simple bun. She grabbed a hard brush, some gel, a black scrunchie, and a couple of bobbie pins then began to do the hairstyle. She applied the lightly scented gel on her hair and brushed her hair up into a neat high ponytail that she held tightly with her scrunchie. She brushed the ends of her hair after she had her hair secure to make sure that there weren't any tangles then began to put her remaining hair into a bun. She wrapped her hair tightly around the position of the scrunchie then held it in place with her bobbie pins.

Once her hair was done she quickly sprayed some sheen on it then searched through her make-up case for some simple to put on. She quickly pulled out her bronze and gold eyeshadow, her dark brown lip liner, and her whisper shade of her glossimer Chanel lip gloss then began to carefully apply her make up. She grabbed a clean eyeshadow brush and applied her bronze colored eye shadow on her eyelids then using the other end of the brush to smooth on her gold colored eyeshadow. Once both colors were on she began to smooth it out so it looked as if the bronze faded to gold giving it a pretty effect without being too dramatic for the work place. Once her eyeshadow was done, she quickly applied some mascara then grabbed her lip liner. She traced the curves of her lips carefully with creamy brown Bobbi Brown lip pencil before filling the inside of the outline with her gloss. She blotted on a piece of tissue before she left her bathroom in search for the perfect pair of shoes to go with her outfit.

She searched through the many rows of shoe boxes in her closet until she came to a pair of shoes that would go well with her outfit. They were a pair of black and white peep toe Manolo Blahnik d'Orsay pumps. She quickly grabbed the box and headed back to her room and sat on her bed. She pulled up the botton of her pants so that her small feet were visible from the light material and pulled on her shoes. When her feet were covered by the over-priced shoes she grabbed her plain black Chanel purse and dumped the contents out of her bed before she grabbed her Luis Vuitton purse and transfered the contents of the Chanel purse into the Luis Vuitton purse.

She pulled her purse over her shoulder and cursed when she realised that she only had twenty minutes to get to school. It was morning rush, which meant that she would need at least fifteen to get to school and she still hadn't eaten yet. She quickly sprayed on her Vanilla Lace perfume then left her room with her keys in hand. She grabbed a breakfast bar and a bottled water from the kitchen then headed out to her car.

Samantha said a grateful prayer when she parked in the student parking lot on time. There was one thing that he school hated and that was students/teachers being late. The headmistress/principal rathered you to be absent than late so it was a good thing that Samantha arrived on time. She walked quickly over to the charter bus that her business teacher had rented and stood next to her friends as the different teachers did roll.

Samantha made her way to the middle of the bus when the teachers were done with the roll and took a window seat. She dug in her purse and grabbed her MP3 player and began to listen to music as the buses made their way to the law firm.

Druex was resting in his hotel room when there was a knock on the door. He sighed, slightly annoyed, as he got up to answer the door. He stopped himself from rolling his eyes in annoyance when he saw that it was Chris at the door.

"What's up Chris?" Druex asked his manager.

"I was thinking about what you said and I don't know your girlfriend so why don't you invite her here for dinner so that I can meet her?" Chris asked.

"You do of course realize that it is a Monday afternoon don't you?" Druex asked his manager.

"Yes but it it's only a few hours drive and shorter if she flies here. I just want to meet her boy," Chris said logically.

"I'll call her and see if she can make it," Druex said somewhat happy that Chris would at least get to know Samantha before he totally disregard's her presence.

Samantha was just walking into her building when her cell phone began to ring. She quickly answered it with a, "Hello?"

"Hey baby," a male voice said.

"Hey sweetie. How are you?" she asked nicely.

"I'm good. Listen my manager, Chris, wants to meet you. See he was having a problem because I had a girlfriend and I figured that if he met you then he would see why I love you," Druex said smoothly.

"See that's why I love you. You're a smooth talker. What time is dinner?" she asked.

"Seven. That way you'll have enough time to get here and back home," Druex replied.

"Is this a formal or casual event?" she asked as she stepped into an awaiting elevator.

"It's semi casual. I mean don't wear anything too dressy or too...comfortable," Druex answered.

"All right. I'll call you when I land," Samantha said before ending the conversation.

Samantha unlocked the door to her condo and walked through the threshold before closing and lockign the door behind her. She walked over to the living room and picked up the cordless phone and dialed the airport. She reserved a flight for five o'clock then headed to the bathroom to take a shower before putting on something other than the suit she was adorned with at the moment.

Once she was out of the shower she quickly put on a pair of undergarments then began to search for something to wear. After a while of searching she came up with a perfect outfit. She slid on a pair of low-riding lavender pants and smoothed them out before sticking her feet into her cream pumps. Once she had on her shoes she pulled on her lavender and cream striped spaghetti strapped shirt. Once she was dressed she sprayed on her Issey Miyake Night perfume then headed to the bathroom to refresh her hair style.

Once she was dressed she transferred everything that was in her brown Luis Vuitton purse into a lavender Luis Vuitton purse then left the apartment. She drove to the airport and waited in line to claim her tickets. It didn't take her long because it wasn't vacation season and quickly headed to her gate. As she boarded the plain she sighed in contentment and cut off her phone until the signal went off.

Samantha exited a plane to see one of the guy's security guard's waiting for her. She smiled and made her way over to him so that they could make their way to the hotel. Samantha anxiously rode the short ride to the extravagant hotel, which was surrounded by fans, dying to see Druex. She didn't realize how much she missed him until he was close to her.

Frankie, the security guard, drove into the underground garage not really attracting the girls because all they saw was a large man and a female, whom most of them assumed was his girlfriend. They rode the elevator to the fourteenth floor where the guys were staying and Frankie showed her to Druex's door before heading to his post by the elevator. Samantha lightly knocked on door 1459, which was Druex's room number, and waited for him to open the door.

The door immediately swung open to reveal Druex waiting with a large smile. Samantha quickly wrapped her arms around him for a comfortable hug. As they parted Druex opened his door wider and motioned for Samantha to walk in. Once the door was closed Druex gently, yet firmly, pushed her against the wall and kissed her passionately.

"Damn," Samantha mumbled to herself when they parted.

"I missed you so much baby," Druex said as he moved back slightly.

"I missed you too boo," Samantha said as she looked him up and down.

She unconsciously licked her lips as she took in his baggy gray velour sweat pants that hung low on his hips as well as his tight white wife beater that clung to his chest. She shook her head to get rid of the thoughts that were suddenly gowing through her head and asked Druex a question that she had been dying to ask since she got there, "So when am I supposed to meet Chris?"

"He should be here in a couple of minutes. He's in a short conference talking about the benefit show we'll be doing in a couple of days," Druex answered.

"Oh I have something for you," Samantha said as she thought about the chain that she had gotten for him a few days ago.

"What is it?" he asked curiously.

Samantha just smiled and opened her purse and searched through it for the long gold box. She quickly grabbed it and handed it to him. Druex looked at it curiously then glanced at her with a questioning look.

"Just open the damn thing," she said with a giggle.

Druex chuckled and opened the box. He looked at what was inside surprised. Laying in the long box was a platinum diamond encrusted chain carved with ther Versace design. The pendant was a name plate that had a platinum base with the words FIZZ that were encrusted with diamonds.

"How much was this?" Druex asked.

"That's for me to know and you to never find out," Samantha said just as someone knocked on the door.

Druex got up and headed to the door as Samantha got comfortable on the edge of the bed and smoothed out her clothes. Chris walked in the room and looked over at Samantha. He had really expected her to come out about their relationship, especially since there were people dying to get her side of the story, and he wondered why she didn't. He wasn't going to let that make him soft though. He still didn't trust her and he wouldn't let her ruin something that took years of hard work to build. He didn't care how much Druex cared about here. No girl was worth ruining a career over.

"So how was your flight?" Chris asked Samantha.

"It was okay. There really wasn't that much traffic seeing as how it was a business day and most people were at home with their families," Samantha replied.

"Where are your parents?" Chris asked.

"Out of town doing business as usual," Samantha answered just as her phone rang.

"Excuse me," Samantha said before she answered the phone. "Hello?"

"Hey sweetie," her mother's voice said over the line.

"Hi mommy," Samantha said as a large smile grew on her face.

"I just wanted to call to make sure that everything was okay. I know that you've been stressed lately," Alicia replied.

"I'm fine ma. Actually I'm with Druex. He was in Philly and asked me to fly up to have dinner with him and his manager," Samantha replied surprising Chris.

Chris thought that she was, to put it simpler, an average girl who had parents who didn't or wasn't happy with her being with a celebrity. Or at the least letting her just hop on a plane and fly to her boyfriend's beck and call. It was coming to his attention that he didn't know a lot about this girl and that it would end up making it harder for him to break them up.

"Really...well tell him I said hi and make sure you're back hom in a decent hour. I'll be back tomorrow evening," Alicia replied.

"Alright mommy. I love you very much and get home safe," Samantha said before ending her call.

"So where would you like to go for dinner?" Samantha asked.

It was later that evening and Samantha had already left for New York and Chris had to admit that she was a charming girl. She had little to no major flaws and Druex seemed happy. He was kicking himself in the ass as he reran his previous thoughts in his head. He knew that the boys were teenagers and had a right to some normalty but they weren't just kids. They were products and he didn't want to see their career suffer in anyway. It would have been easier to end the relationship if Samantha was a user but she wasn't and didn't have a need to. She had money, didn't was fame, and was content to be with Druex behind the scenes.

Everything would have been fine it that fan hadn't went to the papers. He didn't know what to do but he had ruled out sabatoging Druex's relationship. He had watched the couple interact with each other and had to admit that they did look cute together and were enamoured. He was just hoping that things would die over. That was all he could do at the moment because he knew that if he split the couple up he wouldn't have just one angry person at him but seven (B2K and IMx). That was one thing that he prided the boys on...they stuck together.
