Chapter 5

Jarell had gotten a call from his girl Trish and had been on his way to her apartment when he ran into a few Crypts.

"Move!" Jarell said.

"The little Blood thinks he hard," said a guy wearing a baby blue shirt with dark blue jeans.

"Move the fuck away nigga," Jarell said shortly.

"Who the fuck do you think you're talking to?" Calib asked.

"I'm talking to you! Now move I have somewhere to be," Jarell said.

Calib looked at him like he wanted to hit him but Calib knew better. Jarell just pushed Calib and moved to his car and was about to get in his car when he heard a gun go off and felt a bullet push through his skin. Jarelle pressed speed dial #1; Omari's cell. Jarell was hurt but he was a soldier and was determined to make it through this so he drove to the nearest hospital and was immediately taken to surgery

Omari was collecting his money from various people and was surprised when he got a call from Jarell.

"What's up Rell?" Omari asked.

"Calib shot me," Jarell said before the phone went dead.

"Oh hell no!" Omari yelled before calling Arayanna while he drove through a red light.

Arayanna was in English writing her paper for 'Joy Luck Club' when her phone rang. The teacher looked at her sharply but she knew the deal and kept quiet.

"Hello?" Arayanna said.

"Get our people...Jarell was shot," Omari said with anger in his voice.

"By who?" Arayanna asked, she too angry because Jarell was like her brother.

"Calib," Omari answered.

"I'll get everybody and meet you at the spot," Arayanna said before hanging up.

Arayanna stood and caught the teacher's eye. Arayanna packed her stuff quickly and walked over to the teacher as she predd speed dial #2 on her phone.

"Here's the work for today and I need the work for the rest of the week," Arayanna said simply before the phone stopped ringing.

"Hello?" a voice asked over the phone.

"Rashawnda, get the girls. Some shit went down and everything's up and poppin'," Arayanna said as she picked up the papers the teacher gave her with all her assignments on it.

Arayanna walked out of her class to see a herde of people wearing red walk out of their classes. Arayanna saw a few boys but not all of them. She knew the schedule of all the members and was happy to note that most of them had classes together. She walked up to Alanna and said, "Go to room 216 and get Markcus, Glenn, Devon, Aaron, Scootie, and Chris."

"Mike, go to room 116 and get Orlando, Corey, Jordon, James, Allen, Brian, Daniel, Dorien, Liam, Freddie, Eric, Rashad, Rasheed, and Steven," Arayanna said as an after thought then she went to the stair and ran down to the gym. SHe opened the door and was met with a while bunch of boys playing basketball while the girls sat in the bleachers. Arayanna took a breath and loudly yelled, "Boys! It's time to go!"

Immediately Razz, Fizz, Alex, Tony, Craig, Will, Antione, Kevin, and Jawann stopped playing and quickly walked up to Arayanna. They knew something was wrong when they saw her face and they knew better than to press the subject because they were in an untrustworthy enviroment. When they got back up the stairs they a whole bunch of people standing in the hallways sportin' red.

"Aight. Everybody hurry up. We gotta meet O at the spot!" Arayanna yelled and everyone rushed to their cars and drove to a Wearhouse downtown.

When they got there they saw that the lot was already filled with cars. Arayanna parked in her spot while evryone else drove to the back to find a spot. Arayanna walked into the large building and went to her spot near the front and sat down.

Omari was in his seat and if looks could kill, Calib would be dead ten times over. Once everyone was sitting Omari stood and began to speak.

"Today is the day that Calib signed his death certificate. He shot my cousin and fot this he will die. In a few hours we will all be in a full out war," Omari started, "I got some guns and shit downstairs," then he turned to Arayanna and Rashawnda and said, "Y'all shit is down there near the cage. Everyvody, go pack up because it's gonna be poppin' tonight."

Calib had gotten home and had an emergency meeting in his basement. He knew that as soon as his bullet his Jarell that he made a huge mistake. He didn't mean to shoot Jarell...just to scare him a little. He knew how Omari got down and although he wasn't scared...he wasn't stupid and he knew he had crossed the line as soon as he pulled the trigger. He didn't know whether or not Jarell was dead but he felt he was safe for the moment.

Omari watched as everyone got their guns and different assortments of weapons. He knew he had some soldiers on his team and knew that it would be useful in the upcoming events.

Razz was downstairs at the gun cage. He had a gun in his front waist, one in the back and a smaller gun starpped to his ankle. He then walked over to his girl, Rashawnda.

Rashwanda was over to the spot where all the knives were at. She picked up the knife Omari had giver her on her first birthday after she was innitiated, which she had dubbed Suzy Q. She had it in her left hand and twirled it expertly between her fingers before she started slashing it through the air. She moved over to some of the power tools and started to sharpen the blade before she dipped it in some liquid that once dried would allow her to cut several people deeply and to numb that part she had cut so that they bled and didn't even know she made impact. Therefore insuring that the person she sliced would loose an immense amount a blood that usually resulted in bleeding to death.

Fizz was next to Alanna and they were both strappin'. They had a gun on their ankle, strapped to their back and on their waist. They both had a quick finger and perfect aim. Fizz had his hair in a pony tail with a hat over it. He made sure that his hair couldn't easily be pulled when he was in a fight. There was no room for mistakes tonight.

Arayanna was in her own zone. Fighting became an art form when it came to her and she was thoroughly prepared to go all out tonight. Her mind set right now was that, 'Any means were necessary. She would do whatever to ensure that what happened to Jarell would never happen to anyone in her camp again. Of that she was certain.

Before she strapped on any guns she walked over to the section where the knives sat and picked up her set of knives. They were sharp daggers that if you held it staight out and threw a silk scarf in the air and let in come down gradually, it would slice it as easily as it swished through the air. There were targets set up on the side of the room and she had Chris fight her while she threw the daggers in the correct target.

Arayanna was dodging about throwing knives at a target. Arayanna nimbly avoided Chris and tossed another knife. It hit another target dead center, quickly followed by another, then another. Arayanna ducked under Chris's swinging fist and slipped a knife out of her shirtsleeve and toss it expertly. Thunk! Arayanna whirled dodged and flicked a fifth knife at the target. Thunk! She grabbed Chris's arm mid-swing and told him to stop for a minute. Arayanna approached the target and examined the five knives, each imbedded as close to eachother as possible in the center of the target, two in the smaller target and three in the large. Arayanna took the knives out, one went into each sneaker, one in a sheath at her waist, and two hidden in her sleeves. Arayanna took one knife out and held it ready, with her left hand she signaled Chris to start fighting her again.

Arayanna repeated the same process as before, leaping, rolling, dodging, and ducking away from Chris while peppering the two targets with her five knives. Once she was finally done and had stopped Chris from attacking her she placed each knife back in it's hidden sheath before twisting her hair into a tight bun.

She took off her earrings and put some vasaline on her face. She tapped some blades safely between her fingers so that her punches would have a lot more impact. Once she had that done she strapped herself with guns, much like Alanna did, and made her way back to Omari.

Omari had strapped himslef with a couple of guns then began working on the heavy shit. He loaded a few automatic's and took out his baby Machetti. He looked up sharply when Arayanna came over. He looked her up and down and smiled. His girl was the epitome of what he thought a 'soldier' was.

It was ten o'clock when Omari had everyone get in their car and follow him to Calib's house. None of them had their music bumped. It was complete silence as all twenty of the cars drove onto Crypt territory.

Calib wasn't fit to be a leader. He didn't watch his back. Everyone knew where he lived, where the meetings were held and what care he drove the most. Because of that Omari knew exactly where to fo and how to get there. All of a sudden Omari's car stopped and so did every car behind him.

In font of them was a modest one level house that was gray with midnight blue shutters. There were about ten cars in his drive way. Only two of which, were Calib's. Omari and the other Bloods went unnoticed because they didn't have their lights on. Omari reached into the back seat of his midnight black sports car and pulled grabbed an auntomatic and silently got out of his car. He took of the safety and starting shooting up Calib's house.

He stopped shooting ten minutes later and smiled at Calib's ruined house. He motioned for everyone to duck and he moved behind his car so that he wouldn't be an easy target when Calib comes out of his house. He targeted the Crypt owned cars next and shot at the gas tanks causing the cars to blow up.

Omari heard the screams coming from the nearby houses and he yelled, "Mind ya fucking business! This ain't nothing to do with you and if you know what's good for you. You'll keep your hands off the phones and you'll wake up tomorrow!"

"Calib!" Keisha yelled somewhat scared.

"What bitch!" Calib asked from his spot on the floor.

"What are we supposed to do? I know you ain't trying to make us stay locked up in your house like some bitches?" Keshia.

"Shut the fuck up! I'm thinking," Calib answered.

"If you was thinking earlier we wouldn't be in this fucking predicament," Kareem said from his position on the floor.

"Shut the fuck up and come on. I'm not about to let Omari punk me in my own territory. That shit ain't happening. Get ya pieces and let's go!" Calib said lowly.

Everyone pulled out their guns and kicked open the door and immediately started shooting.

Alanna perked up immediately when the door was kicked open and almost thirty people stormed out of the door shooting. She opened the drivers side, which was on the opposite side of Calib's house, as did the other members when they got the signal from Omari and took out her gun and immediately started taking people down. Everyone avoided Keisha and Calib, knowing that Omari and Arayanna would want to take care of them theirselves.

In less then ten minutes, almost all of Calib's people were dead leaving about six Crypts with Keisha and Calib included. Omari and Arayanna came from behind his car while dodging the slowing bullets from the left over Crypts, they didn't have as much ammunition as the Bloods so they were as good as dead, Rashawnda and Razz came from behind his car, and Alanna and Fizz came from behind his. They all picked out a Crypt they wanted and started to reck shop.

Rashawnda spotted Latoya, a bitch she has always despised and ran up to her sliced her from her chest to her hip bone then quickly across the neck before ducking to dodge a bullet from Kareem. Razz was heated when he saw Kareem shoot at his girl and immediately aimed for Kareem's heart before he pulled the trigger.

Alanna had a gun in each hand and continuously shot Antiono in the chest until she was out of bullets. Fizz had already taken Care of Alonzo so they each moved back to give Arayanna and Omari enough space to do what they had to do.

"I knew you wasn't no true blood you crabby assed Crypt," Arayanna spat at Keisha before punching the girl hard in the face. Blood poured slowly from the four sliced in her face.

"You bitch!" Keisha yelled before charging Arayanna and landing a punch on the side of her rib. Arayanna sucked up her punch before pulling her dagger from up her sleeve and thrusting it into Keisha's stomach and twisting it.

Keisha screamed in pain and stopped short. Arayanna bent down and swept her legs under Keisha taking out another dagger slicing each wrist deep into the bone before taking another and slicing each ankle to the bone. Arayanna watched the tears of pain come out of Keisha's eyes as she made each intrusion.

"Hurts doesn't it Keisha? You should of thought of this before you tried to betray the clique." With that Arayanna took out another dagger and thrust it in her chest plate and left it there so that she would watch Keisha suffer while she watch her leader and part-time boyfriend get killed.

Calib had long ago used all his ammunition giving Omari the satisfaction of being able to beat him with his fist. Omari ducked as Calib swung at him and elbowed Calib in the stomach in return. While Calib fought catch his breath Omari punched him hard in the neck and knocked him unconscious. Omari had beaten Calib fairly and had decided to end the game he was playing. He pulled a gun from his ankle strap and looked at Arayanna who nodded before doing the same thing. Omari aimed his gun at Calib's head and Arayanna aimed hers at Keisha and pulled the trigger.

Arayanna pulled her daggers from Keisha's body and followed Omari back to his car, as did every Blood member, and sat in the passenger side while Omari drove off from the crime scene.
